The other day I was given the opportunity to assist the photographer of Indigo Sky Photography, Vince Murdock, on a fashion shoot he was doing with aspiring model, Rebecca.
It was so much fun!!!
We went to three different (if I told you I'd have to kill you) locations. The first had beautiful horses, the second we jaywalked a few times, and the third bug spray was a must! Over all, it was 6 hours long, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
My self titled role was "professional holder" :) I held the flash behind a translucent reflector, held Vince's different lenses, and even his Canon (though Im a Nikon fan) while he was positioning and coaching her. I also stood in front of things so he could see how the lighting would look with her, while she was changing her wardrobe.
It was fantastic, it's like this was the reason God gave me limbs!
I was beyond thrilled to help with such an exciting shoot, and gain some wisdom from someone far more advanced in the photography field. Vince was such a good coach, with not only Rebecca, but also with myself. I learned a lot of new things!
